In a somewhat vain attempt to get caught up with things, I am going to be spamming you all with posts!!!!
I'm going to try to get the Daily Doodles caught up. I have the entire month of August to post here. (You should see my facebook...it's even worse!)
The 30 Drawing Challenge from Twitter that I roped myself into has finished, and I have posted NONE of it here. And I have taken on another art challenge, which I won't start til next week. (Shoot me now)

Should I? Should I not?
Okay... I've been really really really bad about posting things for the past couple years. I've been trapped by an art block approximately the size of the Death Star, but have been drawing things for a while now. All sorts of things...random scribbles with various media, a bit of art journaling, Zentangles, hand lettering, kawaii stuff.
My question...should I post this stuff? I will probably categorize things and so forth. I wouldn't post my practice zentangles, but the final tiles and ATCs. Maybe do "art dumps" for things?
I have a lot of stuff...I've filled two 5x8 sketch books!!!! TWO!!!!!!
Help me out, people. Have you missed me? Or ar
I do still exist...
...in my own mind at least....
Tell me it's worth it. Tell me I shouldn't give up
I am about ready to take all of my art supplies and throw them in the Missouri River. Every last bit of it.
Tell me I shouldn't do it. Give me good reasons why I shouldn't flip the bird to the whole drawing thing.
Every time I try to draw, something comes up and I have to set it aside for about a year it seems, or someone comes along and pisses me off to the point of wanting to stab them in the hand/eye/throat with a 2H drawing pencil.
Tell me why I shouldn't give up.
Tell me.
Now.

Thank you, Kelly D, wherever you are!
In the Fall of 1983 I went to college. I went to Doane College in Crete, Nebraska, a liberal arts college which would pair up incoming freshmen with upperclassmen in the same major. I was going in as a computer science major and got paired with Kelly, a senior. She was a big help when it came to studying and so on. Made me feel welcome and not so scared of being away at college.
Kelly also introduced me to comic books - Marvel and DC. Growing up we never really had comic books. We couldn’t get them in a library, so unless someone gave them to us, we didn’t get them. I knew Superman and Batma
